Aspen Shrunk is a luxury boutique and gallery for bespoke, handcrafted miniature rooms and artistic storytelling collectibles. Every piece is a three-dimensional scrapbook — a fully realized miniature world built from hundreds of tiny, handcrafted details, custom collage wallpaper, warm interior lighting, laser-cut wood, and 3D-printed objects. Alongside signature roombox scenes, the studio creates laser-engraved wooden architectural replicas of Aspen's historic buildings, build-your-own gondola kits, and Barkin Bags™ miniature leather goods. Each creation takes weeks of careful artistry and is made to preserve a real memory in the smallest possible form.

Beyond finished pieces, Aspen Shrunk hosts private hands-on miniature experiences — in-studio and traveling classes where families, friends, and teams build their own tiny worlds together.

Who builds it

Every piece is designed and built by hand in a one-artist studio by Samantha Alter Lammertz. What began as a pandemic-era hobby — self-taught woodworking, laser cutting, and 3D printing — grew into a craft born from her own experiences with health, recovery, and loss, and a belief that the smallest objects can hold the biggest feelings. She personally reads every inquiry and builds every commission.
